Use less toxins in the home

  • Instead of purchasing a cleaning, automotive, or garden product, check our product exchange program.  This free program is available at all of the county's permanent HHW sites.  Quantities and types of materials available vary, and participants will be required to sign a liability waiver and standard release form.
  • Host a 'Green Cleaning Party' to learn about safer cleaning alternatives.  This interactive presentation from our staff allows you and your friends the opportunity to make and test some of these alternatives.  Visit our program page to learn more.
  • Check out our Non-toxic Cleaning Guide created by Greendale's High School's Chemistry Service Club.  If you wish to print out the Cleaning Guide, please select the printable version .
