Walk-in Services and Nurse Call Center

Public health nurses are available to provide health information and referrals, as well as selective walk-in health services.The Nurse Call Center is available five days per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and walk-in services are provided 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Information can be obtained by calling 262-896-8430. Walk-in services are provided at the Public Health Center, 615 W. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188.

• Blood Pressure Monitoring • Medication Counseling
Childhood and Adult Immunizations (fees vary) • Nutrition Counseling
• Chronic Illness Information • Parenting Issues
• Communicable Disease Information • Referrals to community and healthcare service
• Head Lice Checks • TB Skin Testing ($20.00 fee)
• Individual Health Needs/Healthy Habits - All Ages  
  

 Lab Screenings 

 

 •   Childhood Blood Lead Screening ($20.00 fee) —  Available 
     Mondays from 8 AM until 4:30 PM

•   Cholesterol Screening ($20.00 fee) — Fasting is required

•   Glucose Screening [Blood sugar] ($6.00 fee)

•   Pregnancy Screening
