Pregnancy Testing
Find out if you are pregnant through our FREE urine Pregnancy Test. Pregnancy is detected by measuring the concentration of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine.
Services include:
- FREE Urine Pregnancy Test
- Information about Family Planning and Pregnancy Prevention
- Counseling is Available
- Referrals made for Services
- Available as a Walk-in Service, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm
- WIC clients can get tested at your regularly scheduled Thursday appointment.

Prenatal & Postpartum Care Coordination
Waukesha County Public Health nurses provide help with solving problems that come up during pregnancy and postpartum.
Our goal is to help pregnant women have healthy babies.
Public Health Nurses provide services in the home and through telephone consultation.
Services include:
- Health assessment
- Education about pregnancy, birth and the newborn
- Referral to community resources, including a physician for prenatal care
- Assistance with quitting smoking
- Assistance getting resources to pay for health care
- Listening and support
Who is eligible?
Pregnant Women (including but not limited to):
- High Risk Pregnancies
- First-time Moms
- Women in need of education and referral services

Teens & Pregnancy
Public Health Nurses provide prenatal and postpartum care coordination and education for pregnant teens in Waukesha County. Labor and delivery classes are provided to prepare teens for the delivery experience. Services are provided in the home or school.

Teens who are attending school in Waukesha County.
